Grades 1 & 3 retold the Christmas story using their ipads. They colored paper characters, placed them on green paper, and recorded the story using green sticks. Using iMovie, they replaced the green background with a photo of a barn to make their stories come to life!

Grade 4 retold the Christmas story using stop-motion technology. They made characters out of clay, placed them on green paper, and recorded the story using an iPad app called iMotion. Using iMovie, they replaced the green background with a photo of a barn to bring their stories to life! They uploaded their final products to their Google Drive where they shared it with their parents.

Grade 5 used a free, online movie creator, Adobe Express, to create movies of items they want for Christmas. Then they generated a QR code of a link to their movie to paste onto the back of a Christmas ornament they created in the graphic design program, Canva. The ornament will show a snapshot into their lives as a fifth grader for many years to come.

Grade 6 created green screen movies that corresponded to their country reports. They placed themselves in a location in their countries. Some used props while others dressed elaborately in costumes. They used iMovie to merge their video footage with their photo. Then, they inserted it into the Google Slides slideshow of their country.
